Welcome to my humble website. I am deeply grateful to have this opportunity to share a little bit about myself and my journey with yoga and healing. Born in Zurich in 1980 to a Swiss mother and Iranian father, I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been raised in a binational family. This upbringing has blessed me with a flexible and open-minded outlook on life, enabling me to embrace and respect all opinions and differences.
Growing up in Switzerland and later moving to Iran with my family during my teenage years was a significant change that brought its share of challenges and beautiful moments. The warmth and love I experienced in Iran left a profound impact on me, fostering a genuine love for Persian poetry, oriental mysticism, and the captivating nature of the country.
I firmly believe that yoga is not about achieving extraordinary physical feats but rather about developing a deeper connection with our bodies and souls. The body, which I believe is a sacred temple for the soul, deserves love and care, and my role as a teacher is to guide my students in this beautiful journey of self-love.
In addition to my passion for yoga, I have always been fascinated by various healing modalities. I’ve had the privilege of learning Pranic healing, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Reiki, Crystal healing, and some Shamanic healing techniques from incredible mentors. These healing practices have enriched my life and complemented my yoga journey in profound ways.
I am truly honored to share my knowledge and experiences with you. My hope is that through our practice together, we can cultivate a deeper sense of well-being, acceptance, and gratitude. I am here to serve and support you on your path, and I genuinely believe that there is a suitable and unique style of yoga for every individual. Let us embark on this humble and transformative journey together, embracing the beauty of diversity and personal growth. Namaste.
My journey with yoga began humbly in 1997 when I had the privilege of learning from a kind Indian teacher in Iran. Since that day, yoga has become an inseparable part of my life, guiding me through moments of growth and self-discovery. Over the years, I have been blessed to study under various masters and explore different yoga styles, each contributing to my personal and professional growth.
In 2007, I was incredibly fortunate to attend Sivananda Ashram in South India, where I received invaluable yoga coaching that deepened my understanding of this ancient practice. In 2020, I had the honor of earning an Ashtanga degree from Nirvana Shala in Mysore.
As a yoga teacher, I am deeply humbled by the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences with others. While I have had the privilege of teaching many students, I consider myself a lifelong student of yoga, constantly seeking wisdom and insights from my teachers and peers. My ultimate goal as a teacher is to create a safe and nurturing space where my students can explore their inner selves, find solace, and experience transformative growth.
